Roma Drop-in

Roma/Gypsy people come to the U.K. seeking a better life. EJT run a “Roma Drop-in” every Thursday (except for the Christmas holidays) from 4pm to 6pm in the Muller Hall.

Here, advice workers from Citizens Advice Bureau and from Avon and Bristol Law Centre are on hand, as are Romanian and Czech/Slovak interpreters. Queries of every kind are dealt with, with follow-up possible during the week. The Drop-in is a valuable link for health and education professionals. English tuition is offered.

Play workers cater specially for pre-school children.
